City of Atlanta - Street Resurfacing
This fall we completed the milling and resurfacing of 5 City of Atlanta streets. The specifications called for a curb to curb milling of 1.5 - 2 inches, followed by an asphalt overlay of 1.5 inches of 9.5 mm SUPERPAVE asphalt, level II. Traffic flow had to be maintained during the milling and paving of each street, which at times called for lane closures and the use of a pilot vehicle. Over 4,500 tons of asphalt was used on these projects.
