DURA RIDGE

Dura Ridge is a new residential development in Marietta, Georgia, contracted with one of our largest developers and long-standing repeat customers. Phase One included the placement of 8 inches of GAB base material, followed by 2 inches (compacted thickness) of 19 mm asphalt binder.

This phase presented challenges due to persistent wet weather conditions that impacted the sub-base. Through the expertise of our base crews, the sub-base was successfully remediated, prepared for GAB installation, and passed the required proof roll, allowing for the successful placement of the asphalt binder course.

The final asphalt topping will be installed following completion of home construction
